Seattle Art Museum
Sep 12, 2008 by Holly from Glendale
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7

  • The Asian collection is impressive.
  • The exhibition design does nothing to encourage learning.

“I found the layout of the museum uninspiring. One flows through unrelated collections, all in white box rooms. There is no relationship between galleries. I also was unimpressed by the Taurus's hanging from the ceiling in the foyer.”

Green Lake Park
Jul 30, 2007 by Maca from Sacramento, CA
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Great scenery and nice people.
  • Too many people.

“I came to Washington to meet my boyfriend for the first time. He brought me here for our first date. It was a beautiful day, bright, sunny, and a cool small breeze. It was really busy though. We were there on a Saturday and there was a sort of run/walk fundraiser going on at the time. The people are friendly and we were mainly off the main trail because of the high traffic. I love it there and plan to go there when I go back up again.”

Science Fiction Museum & Hall of Fame
Jul 22, 2006 by Kelly from Corvallis, OR
Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9

  • Great exhibits.
  • A bit pricey for a rather small museum.

“A small but unique place to visit. A bit pricey but worth it to any science fiction fan. Memorabilia from everything, movies, TV, and books. Highly recommended if you're in the area and you want to call yourself a true Sci fiction geek!”

Seattle Art Museum
Jun 7, 2006 by Mary from Antioch, CA
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • World-class art all year 'round and a nice cafe on site.
  • Parking nearby is tough to find but there are parking garages in the area.

“I have family in Washington and a friend who lives in Seattle, and every time I visit up there, I check to see what is at the Seattle Art Museum before I go. This museum has one of the best permanent exhibits of Pacific Northwest Indian art to be found anywhere. I have seen some wonderful exhibitions there and art I never thought I'd see outside of London, Paris or New York. It is well worth your time to go to this museum whenever you go to Seattle”

Lion King
Feb 15, 2005 by Michelle W . from Port Angeles, WA
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Costume & sets were unbelievable! We enjoyed every minute.
  • None

“A must see...This was a family event like no other a. My 10 year old nephew was captured from the opening moments as were my parents and everyone else in the theater. As the elephants made their way down the isle to the stage, I sat, mouth dropped open with amazement, at what it must have taken to produce this play. Bravo!!! I have seen my share of plays and have to admit this was one of the best I have seen.”
