(Tower of Fools) Narrenturm

Narrenturm was the world's first mental ward and is also called the Idiots Tower. It was built in 1784, under Emperor Josef's rule. After the psychiatric hospital was closed, for a certain period it served as residence for doctors and nurses. Now it houses the Federal Pathologic-Anatomical Museum. It is located within the vast campus of University of Vienna. Truly the tower is very huge and hard to miss structure.
