• Comfort of bed, and customer service excellency of staff.
• Cold in room and heater/air conditioner is too noisy. Bathroom needs fan and/or heat lamps.

“Staff excellent, hotel clean but old and needs updating both in the rooms and in public areas. Rooms need climate control system that is not so noisy and extreme with heating/cooling.”

• The lobby is beautiful and the food is good.
• Maid service was horrible.

“What is good about this hotel is: The staff is great,the food is really good and it is very easy to find. What was not so great was: our first room was dirty. We stayed for three nights and pretty much all the maid did was make our beds and give us clean towels. We were there with a child at the hospital so we didn't spend much time at all at the room so it would have been nice to actually have it clean when we got back at night. The pool was freezing and really dirty. We will be going back quite a bit in the future with my niece and I just don't know if I will stay there again.”

• Very accommodating. I called the hotel with concerns about pets (allergies), number of beds, and next-door rooms. They were happy to help.
• Allowing pets.

• The location.
• The hotel needed to be updated.

“ This hotel was rated as a 3 1/2 star. I would be generous in saying it was a "3 star. The staff was very professional at the front desk. The rest of the staff couldn't speak or understand a word of English and were not at all helpful. The location was central to I-5 making it easy to get on and off the freeway. The room itself was OK. You could hear every noise from every room. The bed was stiff and terrible to sleep on and there was not a complimentary breakfast in the morning. I don't think I would stay here again. ”

• Convenient to I-5. Good restaurants and shopping nearby.
• Bed was hard. Bathroom had awkward layout. A lot of freeway noise with TV and heating unit off. Did not like 3 pm check-in time.

• Location was convenient for travel on I-5.
• The fan on the in-room heat was extremely loud. Impossible to sleep soundly.

“The hotel was reasonably clean and appointed. However, the fan on the in-room heat was extremely loud and made sleeping fitful for both occupants. Unfortunately, we left unrested.”

• The swimming pool being half enclosed, not comfortable when chilly.

• Convenient location to Tigard and very clean facilities.

“This is a nice hotel. Decent restaurant, decent bar, decent pool. Very limited fitness center. Staff is extremely nice. Rooms are very decent. Wi-fi is free. This is exactly what a business traveler wants.”

• Spacious room. Convenient location to Washing Sq Mall, Woodburn, & restaurants
• Parking lot always seemed to be full. Cleaning staff forgot to clean our room in 1 out of 3 nights stay.

“There always seemed to be some sort of big gathering going on at night or on the weekend in the hotel, thus, making parking spots not that easy to find. Parking lot is not very well-lit and didn't recall seeing any security patrol. Although our car hasn't been broken into or anything, I think having a well-lit parking lot will certainly help to further prevent that from happening.”

• The location was great, the decor in the lobby was tasteful, and my room was beautiful.
• There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel..

• Great location.
• No air conditioning for two nights and very unresponsive to needs.

“I called first night to complain about air conditioning, they said it was because I just arrived. Complained the second night and they said there was nothing wrong it was blowing 72 degrees. Next day finally acknowledged it was broke and said I could move to new room. Offered no help in relocating and was very unapologetic to my situation of being in a room miserable for two nights.”

• The place was nice though a little outdated.
• The place did not seem like it should have been rated at 4 stars, e.g. where were the down comforters?

“This is a fine, friendly hotel that I'd rate at 3.5 stars. The pool is a little bit cold and the hot tub too hot, but otherwise we had a pleasant stay.”

• Even though we were on the 2nd floor the elevator was efficient.
• Noisy AC.

• The front staff was very helpful and kind,
• The bed mattress was too soft, The swimming area was a bit dirty.

“The front staff was so kind and accommodating to put a refrigerator in our room so that we could keep our baby's food cold. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It's a bit old, but overall still very comfortable.”

• Bed very comfortable, bed linens good quality, great location by 3 highways. restaurant food very good, service very good, and menu prices very good.
• Tub was a little small.

“ Check-in went smoothly. Staff very friendly. Room was very nice clean and quiet. Bed linens were good quality and bed was very comfortable. Could barely hear road nice from 3 highways adjacent. Ate in the hotel restaurant and prices were very reasonable, food was good, and service was attentive. Would stay here again. The location was great for sight seeing as it was at the junction of 3 highways, you could go any direction quickly and easily.v ”

• Excellent and
  helpful staff.
• Gym equipment/area dirty, most gym equipment broken, dark/claustrophobic building.

“Good for business travelers. Dated but clean building. Extremely pleasant and efficient staff. Super convenient to I-5 corridor, and close in to downtown. Free parking, quick in and out unlike Portland downtown hotels.”
