“Comfortable enough for overnight stay. A step above the Motel 6 type. Room was big, roomy, and quiet. Did not see internet connection, which would inhibit a business traveler. Very conveniently located just off the 405 in fountain Valley/Huntington beach. Area not unpleasant.”

“Overall, a good value for the money. It's right off the freeway, no frills, but quite adequate, basically clean (except for the phone) and quite comfortable beds. The pool is the smallest I've ever seen for a hotel/motel, but it was clean. As long as it wasn't crowded, it was fine. Liked the continental breakfast.”

“If this is a 2 star, I am afraid of 1 star. Makes Hilton Garden Inn look like Ritz Carlton.”

“Overall for a family with children it was very good. Other families were at the hotel at the same time and they were extremely loud. I am surprised other customers did not complain. So for us as travelers with kids who are always making sure we are quiet when we pass by rooms and making sure if we stay on the 3rd floor our kids are not bouncing on the floors, it was very nice to not have to be extra considerate. Continental Breakfast was good. The breakfast room was small depending on when you showed up there was standing room only. Pool was good. Overall nice.”

“The hotel is dirty. The elevator was very dirty, they never ever cleaned under the bed. Hair all over bathroom floor. $10.00 deposit for a room key. Staff spoke very poor English. Also do not stay at any Wyndham hotels, there customer service if you can call it customer service is just as bad.”

“When we hear the Ramada name we expect superior quality, outstanding customer service and a quiet and leisurely stay in a comfortable room. This was not what we received at the Ramada Inn at Fountain Valley. The traffic and construction noise was loud. The staff was not focused the needs of the customers. The continental breakfast was unhealthy and the kitchen equipment in the breakfast room either didn't work (broken) or has seen better days (Missing buttons and unsafe). Unfortunately, this hotel gives Ramada a tarnished name for us while we travel.”

“This is our second time this year we got our room with Priceline, the first time in Cajon we did bought our room online direct from Priceline and this time we did our bid online, we did look around while we are in California, we're able to get room nicer and cheaper than Priceline offer to us.”

“This not a two star hotel. At best its a one star. While I can tell much work has been done to upgrade this hotel, it more like a hotel of last resort because of the location to the freeway and road noise. The other thing I did not like is a lost key charge. Most hotels have plastic keys which are easy to replace. This hotel had an old style chip key that was expensive to replace and very small making it easy to lose. They charged you 10 dollars up front for the key. If the hotel upgraded the room keys and were some how able to more sound proof the rooms then my opinion would change.”

“They just finished remodeling the rooms so things are clean and current. Standard room had micro, fridge, 2 TV's, blow dryer, iron, safe & continental breakfast. Close to freeway, family fun center & restaurants nearby. I was satisfied with all they offered for the price. We ended up staying another night.”

“I called the motel to secure a non-smoking room and to determine if I could have a late check out. I spoke to a night staff person who confirmed the non-smoking room. He also told me it would be ok for a late check out around 3 PM instead of noon. When I checked in, I spoke with the owner, who had me set for a smoking room. Also he would not budge for me to stay any longer than noon. He would charge me $10 to stay later. As it turned out, I did not have to stay later, but it was not a friendly encounter at check-in. I told him he needed to comply with what his people were telling his guests.”

“While it is located next to the freeway, the noise is virtually non existent. The windows are completely operable which a safety concern is. The room was not ready when we checked in at 5 pm.”
