• Updated, very clean nice room - Hotel staff was friendly and wonderful!
• The heater was loud (nothing to keep you up - just louder than I thought it should be.)

• Nice location on the river.
• No breakfast service, older dated facility, extremely poorly maintained fitness room.

“slightly dated facility. I was at the hotel in it's off season and there was very limited staff. There was no breakfast service; I was traveling on business and alone and I don't want to sit a restaurant and order breakfast. Additionally, I like to be able to workout while traveling and the fitness room was filled with unmaintained/nonfunctional equipment so I ran in the ran.”

• Very convenient, large room and very clean.

“My husband and I were on vacation with our bicycles, and it was very convenient to be able to park right at our door and enter our room from the outside. We had a chance to use the pool/hot tub, and everything was very clean. The lobby/reception area was very inviting with a many lounge chars, a fireplace and large picture window with great views of the river. I was expecting a package, and the staff informed me of its arrival right away. Thank you for a very enjoyable 3 night stay. I would "Highly Recommend" this hotel!!”

• Close to silver wood.
• The shower.

• Pot smokers above us and it drifted down smelling horribly.

“The check-in process was slow, insufficient towel supply in the pool area and no one seemed to care. Had to wait for a clean room even though we were checking in after 4 pm. Charged $7.95 for the same breakfast buffet offered complimentary at other hotels.”

• Beautiful location on banks of Spokane River.

“This is an older property but it seems to be very well maintained. The room included a frig, microwave, and counter space. The room was comfortable and clean.”

“Excellent buy. Rooms faced the river. Excellent view with patio. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Easy to get to. Would highly recommend.”

• Very clean, spacious room, plenty of storage, and very nice bathroom.
• Had to pay for breakfast, room service was extremely expensive.

“We stayed at the Red Lion, which was very nice, large clean rooms, very comfortable bed, plenty of space for my family. They did not serve breakfast since there was a restaurant on site. The cost of the food there was very high so we opted to make our own. The hotel and staff were great and we would stay there again if we had things to do in Post Falls. Our vacation was in Coeur D' Alene, so lots of driving caused wasted time specifically the two hour drive back to the hotel after watching the fireworks. Had we been in CDA that would not have happened.”

• I liked that it was close to the freeway.
• Don't ask for a fold out bed (extra sleeper). You will be sorry! Very uncomfortable. Slept on springs in my back.

“They cahrgede 10 extra dollars for a fold out sleeper (my kids took the bed). It was horrible. 3 inch mattress with springs busting your back. They didn't care. Very low class place overall. Will not stay again.”

• liked the quiet setting and close proximity to shopping, and bike trails.
• Yappy dog in one of the rooms, I am not a dog person and have allergies to pets, but did not have a reaction.

“ I just wish, that you would not put me into this hotel when I look for a hotel in Coeur dfAlene. This hotel is about 10 to 15 miles due west of this city. So it is not really in CDA. When I request CDA, I expect a hotel in CDA. ”

• We were in room 260 and the plastic bathtub wasn't set right and it floated and buckled while showering.

• Clean and comfortable room with all the extras!
• Zero complaints.

“ Templins Red Lion is a comfortable, clean, and family friendly hotel with a terrific view of the river. Convenient to not only Spokane and post falls, but also Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The hotel staff is very nice, I have stayed there twice now. ”

• Someone tried to break into our car.

“The location near the river, the clean rooms and great service and peaceful location was marred by hearing your car alarm go off and realize that someone tried to break into your car as you sleep. This startled my confidence and safety for myself, my family and the personal items at this hotel. Too bad.”

• Lots of parking, close to restaurants.
• Cold sauna and staff, noisy heat, stuffy room.

“Cheap, on river, lots of parking close to restaurants. Stuffy dusty room with noisy heat. Good soaking and lap pool. Indifferent staff. They wanted $20 for a river view, they should be stumbling over customers to get them in the door - 90% vacancy with a strange used/abandoned car lot in the parking area”
