Wonderful rustic alpine setting; very private & romantic in summer season; great dining room and fun coffee shop.
Housekeeping staff came before 9 am -- too early; then did not return later to make up room as requested.

“We greatly enjoyed the outdoorsy alpine setting -- as we visited in the less busy summer season, it was private & romantic for a newlywed couple. There were several young families with children also enjoying the facilities (FUN playground just out front of the hotel -- life size checkers and chess!) yet neither type of visitors seemed out of place. Had a fabulous feast at the Chimney Rock Grill -- excellent food and presentation; and also really enjoyed the fun coffee shop, a place where I could have curled up with a latte and book for hours.”
