  • The staff were wonderful and friendly.
  • I liked everything.

“Beautiful, well-maintained hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.”

  • Was the getaway that we needed.
  • More restaurants, close would have been nice.

“We could tell that it was a convention center! But the room was nice and we were able to relax.”

  • Pet friendly.
  • Very noisy patrons running the halls until 2 am.

“It has been updated to a point, bed was great. Not enough supervision of younger patrons.”

  • Really comfy bed.
  • Lousy breakfast.

“Much better experience this time (after early September). Room was roomy, clean and well-maintained. Staff could have been a bit better trained--room service operator was unfamiliar with the menu and the desk clerk didn't know about TV channels offered; but the desk staff was friendly and as helpful training allowed. I had my first bad experience with the restaurant. I ordered room service breakfast and the food frankly stank. The eggs were OK but the toast was almost inedible--tough as leather--and the hash browns were nearly burnt and tasted like someone had dumped several teaspoons of salt on them.”

  • The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.
  • The bathroom had 3 water knobs and 2 shower heads confusing and cold!

“This hotel was great for the price I paid! The rooms need updating pretty badly- the plumbing needs to be fixed up too. The grounds are beautiful and the pool layout great but apparently the heater was broken and the kids were freezing in the pool!”

  • Friendly staff.
  • Noisy thin walls.

“Nice comfy rooms. Clean, nice linens. Not very quiet. Loud people in hallways all hours of day. River closeby.”

  • I was on a river which I couldn't see but it was on a river.
  • It was not very clean, it was old, or at least this part of the hotel was. It was a poor location to Highway.

“I would not stay here again,my room and experience were not very good.”

  • The cookie.
  • Blow dryer didn't work, alarm went off at 4 am, hard to find room.

“Old. Needs remodeled. Room service wasn't very good.”

  • The bathroom had an oval tub. I loved that. The restaurant was good but burned my meatloaf and they took five dollars off my bill.
  • The hallway we entered really needed to be vacuumed.

“It was lovely really. A convention center with many amenities.”

  • We liked the privacy, layout, the comfort of the room, the showers. The pool, & restaurants. Cookies!
  • There was no elevator. No extra blankets in the room.

“I really enjoyed staying at the Doubletree Riverside. I didn't get to see the pool, but my husband said it looked really nice, and he wished we would have had more time to try it out. I would have also liked to have dined in one of the restaurants, but we didn't have the time. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I was really impressed with the deal I got on Priceline. I will always check Priceline for now on.”

  • I loved the grounds. Being next to the Boise river was a huge plus, it allowed us to walk along the riverwalk and relax.
  • The rooms are not sound proof. We had some interesting late night neighbors making it difficult to sleep.

“This is a great place to spend some time while in Boise. We had dinner at the Riverside and enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The riverwalk is beautiful and the grounds well cared for with numerous places to stop and smell the roses. Very relaxing place to be. We plan to return again.”

  • The super-comfortable king bed!
  • No elevator in our section.

“Clean, quiet, and comfortable.”

  • Besides the great price, the hotel was way above average in accommodations, have stayed before, and will stay again.
  • Unless you already know where the hotel is, it is difficult to find it from the local roads or highway.

“Have stayed before with grandkids who loved the pool. Son and family live in Nampa and while it does take us longer to get to them vs. Nampa area hotels, it is worth the extra drive for when we meet to do things in Boise.”

  • Excellent accommodations with good price for just one night.
  • The serve was slow at the restaurant and the food was nasty.

“We will definately go back there if/when we need to.”

  • Wonderfully comfortable bed and shower! Spacious room and great attention to details.
  • Musty smell of room that didn't match how clean it was.

“This was one of the best hotels of our cross country travel. We were very comfortable in the bed, loved the multi-jet shower, and the free Internet. There was lots of great green walking space around the hotel for our dog and the hotel was in short driving distance to the nice downtown Boise area.”

  • Felt dark, unsafe, large buildings with many empty rooms, cold staff at front desk, ceiling tiles missing in bathroom in room.

“Maybe if you and your whole soccer team and families where there it would feel like a fit...for us - two middle aged women, it felt isolated, dark, isolated, under-used, unfriendly front desk staff..and therefore unsafe. We chose to go elsewhere and forfeit the money. It did not at all match the quality of another "three star" hotel in Boise, the Hilton Garden Inn, in the aspects that were important to us.”

  • Great comfortable beds! And quiet and along the green belt, nice for an evening walk.
  • Couldn't get on Internet.

“Nice spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds. Easy access to Downtown and the greenbelt along the Boise river.”

  • Close proximity to where I needed to be.
  • Could use some updating in the hallways; they kind of smell like smoke.

“The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice.”

  • Big rooms and very well decorated.
  • Expensive restaurant.

“This is always my favorite hotel to stay at. They are always so nice and willing to get you anything you need. Love that you get a nice delicious cookie when you check in. We got two this time because it took so long to check us in YUM!”

warning that there is no elevator.

“No elevator. Need elevator.”
