• Great location - very friendly staff.
• No elevator in the building we stayed - we were on the second floor.

“Hotel is good looking on the outside - impressive to drive up to. Lobby was nicely appointed with indoor swimming pool view from checkin desk - very attractive. The hotel also has a good breakfast buffet - with hot items available.”

• No elevator, was on the third floor. No microwave or fridge.

“I would not recommend this hotel. The staff was not very helpful. Was on the third floor with no elevator. Room did not have a fridge or microwave. Tried to get one, they didn't have any available. Bathroom sink is extremely small. Rooms were in good condition and the bed was fine. Location is good.”

• We liked the location, amenities and good continental breakfast.
• There was no elevator, my husband is disabled.

“We were overall very pleased with the Cottontree Inn. We were in town for a grandson's graduation. The location was perfect. We were happy with the room and amenities. Everything was clean and well maintained.”

• Good location, clean, nice staff and
  easy access.
• The beds were not comfortable at all, they looked bumpy and felt worse.

“The overall stay at this hotel was pretty good except the bed. To me that is one of the most important part of the stay. If I get up achey the next day because the bed was not comfortable I am more than likely not going to stay there again. Spend a little money on comfort and you will get returning customers. Everything else there was great.”

• More than met my expectations, nicest hotel we stayed at in Pocatello.
• Separate buildings. It was difficult getting kids from the pool to the room.

“I was very impressed with the staff and the room. They were very friendly and supportive. The breakfast was great and was different each day.”

• It was the worst stay ever and I've traveled for 26 years.
• I kept telling the maids to not bang the doors. Then the third day I told the front desk to tell everyone that would be associated with that floor.

“Then the fourth day I had to call the front desk. And said do not put the same maid the next day. I guess she kept forgetting. Even though I told her daily. No respect for the customers!”

• I like the continental breakfast. It changes every day. Bed and pillows were great!
• The room I had was a bit small, and felt cramped at times.

“Overall satisfied. When staying here the staff is helpful, and the rooms for the most part are comfortable. Hot tub and pool is inside, so swimming and relaxing can be had year round.”

• The staff was very friendly and courteous.
• Room was a bit cramped with two queen beds but very clean.

“Aside from the room being a bit cramped with two queen beds, everything was very clean and staff was very friendly and courteous. Hotel was located far enough off the freeway that it was very quiet. Also offers free wireless internet. Would certainly consider staying there again.”

• I liked the location close to a nice restaurant and easy to get to.

“I liked this hotel. I had a very nice spacious room, and they had a very nice breakfast bar - better than most. I found it very quiet and comfortable, yet close to a few restaurants. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.”

• The staff was accommodating for our special needs, the pool was nice, and the breakfast was the best continental breakfast I'd had.
• There was a lot of walking to do to get from room to lobby, or room to pool.

“The room was well-kept and typical of this class hotel as far as decorations, bedding, etc. The pool area was clean and fun. There was a large breakfast room with lots of great breakfast food! I was expecting cereal and juice like many other hotels, but this place had everything you could possibly want to eat!”

• Staff was friendly.
• My first nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. Staff moved me though.

“Older and tired hotel, but adequate for a short stay. Nothing fancy (vending machine had only 2 selections; milky way candy bars and tgif potato skins) but bed was comfortable.”

• Nice big king bed, great pillows.
• Very old feeling, smelled funny in stairwells.

“While being very clean and comfortable, the hotel is old, and you can feel it when you first walk in, dark wood, way outdated wallpaper, and hallways/stairwells smelled. But otherwise great.”

• It was a convenient location.
• I expected newer rooms/facilities.

“I called in advance of my stay to request a room with two queen beds. The hotel assured me that it would be no problem, and I felt satisfied with the promptness of service at that time. When I called again, only a few days prior to my check-in, I discovered that they had not processed my request for two beds. I felt frustrated and upset, Naturally, but after some time working with the staff on the phone, my room was upgraded to a suite with a bed and a couch-bed. Unfortunately, when I checked in, the upgrade had somehow not gone through. The hotel did not even have a roll-away bed to use. It was a rough experience, and a late, uncomfortable night's sleep. I did not leave the hotel pleased with my experience.”

• The pool and hot tub are open 24 hours.
• The room we reserved did not exist at that location (2 queen suite, sofa bed).

“It was just fine for our short stay. Close to restaurants, freeway and shopping, but in a relatively quiet location. We liked the 24 hour pool and hot tub, and you can get some hot food items with the continental breakfast.”
