• Helpful desk clerk.
• TV did not work room was not clean had tp scrub the shower before use.

• The room is nice, but location is bad, I will never want to stay here anymore.

I like to stay in nortwest express area but do not want the chance to get the win the bid in Howthorne suite because of the location. The rest of the hotel in Nortwest express area is fine.”

• This was a very large room.
• The furniture was outdated.

“I enjoyed the space of the room, however, the furniture was a bit outdated, and the bed was uncomfortable. There was no on site dining.”

• My car broken in to and things stolen.

“The hotel said they had video surveillance, however, owner not available to look at tape for over a week. Had to leave before owner came back to work. Still don't know if video was looked at and turned in to police. Lost one day of work, had an ipod taken and window broke and replaced.”

• It was very outdated and old looking.

“The smell when we walked into our room was horrible. I can not even describe it. The smell in the lobby when we checked out smelled like a backed up sewer line.”

• Bed was comfortable, location was fairly quiet, price was reasonable.
• One faucet was broken, refridgerator didn't work.

“Nice room, clean, quiet, Room was fairly spacious with the foldout couch room included, bathroom was large. Hot water could have been hotter. Refridgerator didn't work. One of the beds was missing a sheet. Kitchenette faucet handle was too loose to operate the cold water. Staff was very helpful and courteous.”

• Great friendly staff. Nice comfortable suite and amenities.
• It had snowed and the new heating system had problems.

• Very roomy and plenty of space.
• A little on the dark side. Non-smoking rooms smelled smoky.

“Great location and friendly customer service. I really like the living area away from the bedroom with a desk to work at as well. Rooms were a little dark. Had to have all the lights on to feel comfortable. Would definitely stay again.”

• I liked the location and the rooms were big. The hotel was very nice.

“I liked the hotel. The rooms were big and spread out. My son slept on the sofa hide-a-bed and he had his own television to watch. There was a nice little breakfast nook in our room that overlooked the pool area which would be great for traveling during the summer months”

• The suite was huge! It was also nice to have refrigerator and microwave in the room.
• There was a musty odor in the room. Time to replace the carpeting!

“We spent the weekend at this hotel. I would say it met our expectations in all areas except that there had been water damage in the room that was covered up with a coat of paint. Musty smell! The smell either got better with the fans on full or we just got used to it. Breakfast was fine, room (other than smell) was good, the staff was very friendly and helpful (with directions, etc.). There is a small workout room in the hotel, as well.”

• Dirty floors, smelled like a smoking room, old carpet, dirty all over.
• I would never stay there again or tell anyone about the hotel.

“The staff was not there when I checked out on Saturday morning and the room for breakfast was not opened at 7:00. I still do not have a receipt for the hotel stay - the rooms are horrible and dirty - the swimming pool was dirty and needed to be cleaned - bricks around the pool were broken and could be dangerous for small children. Apparently the management of the hotel does not care about the property.”

• Spacious rooms, large breakfast.
• Unfriendly staff, the room was dirty.

“The room would have been very nice if it weren't for the fact that it looked like they hadn't cleaned in a year. The carpet was very sticky; I didn't want to take my socks of because of it. There were also cobwebs all over the room and the towels didn't look like they had been washed since the last guests left. (One of the 'clean' wash cloths had makeup on it.) Outside of the hotel were several trash bags just lying on the grounds. We wonder what prevented the staff from taking them to the dumpster 50 feet away. If the staff starts to clean better I would recommend this hotel. It is very close to several clubs and has its own next to the lobby.”
