• It was located on Lake Superior and close to the downtown Marquette area.
• The breakfast area was quite small and couldn't accommodate a busy crowd.

“We travel to Michigan almost every year and although this was not the best hotel in the area that we stayed at, it suited our needs. It was clean, friendly and conveniently located close to the things we wanted to do in Marquette.”

• Conveniently located and with an excellent view of Lake Superior.

“This place suited my need. Great view of Lake Superior albeit across the road. Very conveniently located to everything, shopping, dining and the ice rink. My only complaint was we were located on the lower level in a non-smoking room at the very end of a hallway. There was a service door leading outside right by our door and it did not have a latch. Being winter that meant all the cold air came right in as the door did not stay closed tightly. In addition, the maids used this door as their access to go outside to smoke. So if the cold air can come in you can imagine the smoke coming in as well. It did not permeate into the room so it was not a problem. I just thought the maids should have used a little more common sense and not did that so close to a guest room especially when they knew the door was not functioning properly. And of course the door should have been fixed to begin with. All and all though this place met my expectations and I would venture there again and hopefully the door would be fixed.”
