  • I liked the closeness to Boston's inner city and the convenience of the hotel restaurant and facilities.
  • The hallways were full of dirty dishes overnight. The next morning they were still there in the hallway.

“In the heart of Boston, I had high expectations for this particular hotel. It was listed as a 4-star hotel so I expected more from this hotel. It has most of the qualities of a 4-star hotel but could use some work in some areas. Although I could control the heat at night, it reset in the morning so I was rather cold waking up. Upon entering the room, me and my guest noticed only 1 set of towels in the room and had to request more. Overall the stay was good but I only stayed one night.”

  • Good location for the cost.
  • The location into downtown is not in walking distance.

“Great stay and will use priceline for this type of travel in future.”

  • Very clean and great service.
  • Not enough drawer space, nothing is included in price or extra, no coffee in lobby.

“Very nice hotel which seems to have been recently renovated. Rooms are very comfortable but not enough drawer space at all if you have more than two people per room. they did provide extra hangers which did work out great. Wish they would have offered coffee in the lobby in the morning as the room coffee with powdered creamer did not start my day off in a great mood. Also, food in hotel restaurants was very pricey and with two kids had to take the shuttle to go eat elsewhere. Also location was not great, but shuttle service was exceptional. I would stay here again.”

  • Location easy to get into DT Boston, Also great views.
  • Two things: Staff lack of attention & parking fees.

“The staff was not easily accessible/approachable. We waited forever to valet our car. No one greets you when you first arrive outside. So we wound up self parking it. And the parking fees are crazy $35 for 24 hours if self parking it. (higher to valet, if you get a human.) Get a floor higher than 4. You can smell the restaurant food if your are that close.”

  • The front desk gave us the wrong key and when we made the trek back down to the front desk, there was no apology for the inconvenience.

“Loved our view of the Charles River.”

  • Beds were comfortable - we enjoyed our stay there for a night.
  • Not in walking distance to Downtown Boston or fun parts of Cambridge. You'll need to drive or take a taxi.

“ Hotel was a bit mobbed with a wedding and and a convention. Checking in was a little frenzied, but not too bad. They made a mistake a brought our bags up to a room with a queen bed (not king), but we were moved within half an hour and all was good. Comfortable beds, nice enough staff, $21 parking in lot next to hotel. It is not too close to any place walking distance wise so expect to take a cab or drive, but for the price we enjoyed our stay. It was a nice hotel and was well rated and worth the Priceline price.

  • Beautiful location to view Boston , clean and roomy.
  • Not convenient to the T.

“I like the size of the rooms beautiful view of Boston and the Charles, having the garage attached is a nice feature - I just wished it was a short walkout to the T.

  • Always AMAZING service at Hyatt Regency hotels.
  • Just a bit too far from public transportation.

“Hyatt Regency is always my hotel of choice, and we were lucky to get such a good deal. As always, the service was superior, and the room was wonderful.”

  • Great staff!
  • Location was a little inconvenient, especially at night when you can't walk as many places.

“Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is a little inconvenient but the shuttle helps with this.”

  • Convenient location to Boston University. Easy walking distance.
  • Parking fee is $35 a night. Outrageous!

“Newly remodeled, clean rooms. The bed was very comfortable.”

  • Very comfortable.
  • Paid parking, and Internet.

“Very Good Hotel - but parking of 35$ is pretty steep. Also internet connection was 12$/night.”

  • We were able to upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the Charles River.

“Great hotel for the price. Glass elevators. Good size room. Great location on the Charles. Good for a morning run past MIT.”

  • Leaving.
  • It was near nothing in Boston, you would have to cab everywhere.

“This is a 2 star hotel trying to be a 5 star,
the Bistro Café does not have prices on the menu, staff would not budge on prices seen on the web, much cheaper, anyone knowing a 4 to 5 star hotel will never come back to this hotel, sorry, I travel a lot, I will never return to Boston to stay.”

  • Have not found any positives during this stay.
  • Staff, hotel, price and location.

“Don't bother with this hotel. The staff was indifferent, the restaurant has poor service and worse food. The lobby is dark and people sitting on floors as there is no proper waiting area. Parking is outrageously priced. Very poor hotel for business travelers.”

  • The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful!
  • Everything was great.

“I have been fortunate enough to book this hotel two different times on Priceline. The location is fantastic for families that are in Boston/Cambridge to look at colleges. The staff from check-in to the restaurant and gym were all very helpful and friendly.”

  • Excellent staff, always met my needs.
  • Hotel exterior and lobby was not 4 star quality, parking was expensive, city view from room was not up to par.

“Star rating did not align with what I saw. The breakfast was overpriced for the small variety that they offered at the buffet. Parking rates were high. The lobby looked outdated as well as the outside of the building. Shuttle services only run until 6:30pm, which caused us to spend more money on taxis. We could not take the car out since there were no in and out access.”

  • Good quality Hyatt on the rooms.
  • The atrium area looked a little 60'ish.

“Good property if you need to be in the Harvard/Boston University area. Rooms were great, and the staff is awesome.”
