• Close to the interstate.
• Was not quiet.

“I went there only for the night (8 hrs). I checked in at 12 AM. After I slept, someone knocked on the door to wake me up. I did not feel very safe...”

• Convenient location.
• Condition of room appeared clean, but upkeep was not good.

“Bathroom had paint peeling from door, mattress box springs were torn and showing, room was so cold, could not regulate, so had to sleep with heater fan on. Could feel wires through mattress, dressers had water type stains in each drawer.”

• Conveniently located.
• It wasn't well stocked with items that should have been there.

“The room smelled a little strange. There was a coffee pot but no cups. No ice bucket. Coffee pot was never emptied and cleaned and no cups or coffee and supplies were ever brought on the consecutive days that we stayed. The staff was friendly, though. I probably would pay more to stay at a different hotel in the area.”

• It was cheap and conveniently located off the interstate. The shower pressure was good and they had breakfast.
• Construction going on, the front door wouldn't shut completely and the whole place had a slight odor.

“There was construction going on and the place was disorganized. It had a slight odor like mildew and cigarette smoke. The room was clean enough, but the bed was not comfortable plus they only provided you with a single sheet to cover with underneath a 1970's looking bed spread that smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. The walk way and parking lot should have been shoveled better and salt put down because it was all ice- I fell on my arise on the way to my car! This place can be compared to Dollar Inn with a breakfast in the morning.”

• There was one front desk employee, contest that did what she could to help us out.
• Dusty, old, rundown, wallpaper peeling from walls, dirty floors, smells bad.

“I was not at all happy with my stay in this hotel. One of the rooms smelled so awful when you walked in, all you could do was turn around and walk right out. Staff was nice enough to go out of her way to try and find another room that was decent, but the rest of my family was unable to stay in this hotel due to the dust, mold, and mildew so the room went empty. The room I stayed in looked as though it had not been deep cleaned for years. There was dust and debris builds up in the corners and around the beds. The carpet was coming up in several places. All the wallpaper was peeling and dirty. The shower curtain had mildew on it. The linens seemed clean and the sink and bathroom area seemed to be fairly clean. Maybe if they opened up the windows and aired out the rooms once in a while that would help, but Im not so sure that would cure this hotel.”

• Quiet place to stay, back off of the main highway.
• Their sign could have been more visible, almost missed it.

• Hidden location.

“Better than you might expect, especially for a forty dollar base price. Decent continental breakfast, friendly staff, good beds. Downside rooms and bathrooms a bit worn and location hard to find. It is behind the Walgreen across from Wal-Mart.”

• Nothing. Worst experience ever; had to stay in a smoking room.
• Not much at all.

“This was the worst hotel experience of my life. They ran out of non-smoking rooms; threw me into a smoking room. The staff was about as discourteous as ever; left the next day with one massive headache due to the cigarette smoke. Flatly speaking, this place was not a 2 star it was a dump!”

• Mold in the coffee pot and water tank. Shower did not work. Smell in the room.

“I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone unless they are willing to put up with strange smells, mold in their coffee pots and showers that do not work.”

• The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was large and fairly comfortable.
• Our clothes were smoky smelling when we left although we do not smoke.

“The hotel was convenient to the highway and other areas of town where we were visiting. The staff was friendly but not always readily available.”

• Located close to i-74.
• No internet!

“Nice room, clean, perfect location and very spacious. Even had a nice sofa in the room. However, a hotel nowadays must have some form of internet connectivity and this one did not. I would have given it a perfect rating otherwise. The staff was great. They let me check in early and hang around after checkout. They were very helpful in giving me directions and answer all my questions.”

“When I arrived they indicated the reservation was canceled, but they set it up again and charged a higher price. I checked out a day early and they indicated I would no be charged for that day. ”

• It has a very clean, inviting appearance as you walk in.
• There was no high fiber cereal for breakfast like raisin bran even though they had 3 different cereals.

“Very nice, very clean motel. Breakfast was nice, except there was no raisin bran or other high fiber cereal. The French toast was ok. The oj was good.”
