• While the decor is relatively dated, the rooms and public spaces are comfortable, clean and quiet.
• The decor and furnishings are out of date.

“ My family and I returned to this excellently located hotel year after year for weekend getaways. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. The staff is always attentive, courteous and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to families and business travelers. ”

“Royal Scot is a comfortable hotel close to the waterfront and attractions of downtown Victoria. Its location one block off the main street provides a quiet environment that is a very short walk from the Black Ball ferry dock. The staff is very friendly and helpful, quickly addressing questions and requests for service. They were very kind to store our bags for several hours both before check in and after check out.”

• There was a $10 charge for parking, the ad said free parking.
