• Nothing.
• Hotel staff should have made contact with us as soon as they found out they were not going to have a room.

“Several employees had confirmed late arrival hotel reservations and when they all checked in late that night the hotel had canceled one of the rooms. The hotel had made arrangements at a nearby hotel for one of our six employees to stay at. The other hotel they booked him at was a smoking room and the hotel was dirty. The Holiday Inn staff did suggest that our employees could sleep in the same room together if they all wanted to stay in the same hotel, nice suggestion! Since it was very late at night, the employee stayed but will not trust this Holiday Inn again. Nothing like working all day and getting stuck in a Flea Bag Hotel when you think you have a confirmed reservation. Why does the hotel require a credit card and all our information when making a reservation if they are not going to try to make contact or honor their confirmation they give! Don't stay at this hotel if you have a choice.”

• Housekeeping was behind and room didn't get cleaned.

“Was pleased with room overall and the staff was very friendly. Location was perfect for us and we would stay again at this location.”

• Quiet and clean atmosphere.
• The fruit that was placed in the lobby was not washed.

“The hotel was pleasant for a short stay. I would not get into the hot tub because it appeared cloudy.”

• No complaints.

“Location is easy to find. Staff is friendly. Rooms were very clean. Overall was a very good experience. We would definitely stay again at this location.”

• The mini kitchen including fridge, microwave, bottled water in the fridge, and popcorn to pop in microwave.
• The staff was a bunch of idiots.

“I woke up at 2:44 in the morning to a blinking orange light. The message light was blinking on the phone. I called down to the front desk and the girl told me I had no messages but she didn't know how to turn it off and I'd have to tell the attendant in the morning. When I tried to tell the morning attendant, it was the same girl I spoke to in the night. She laughed, I had to leave for a meeting. When I returned that evening, I told the evening attendant. He tried to turn off the light and when I got up to the room, my key did not work. I went back downstairs and he reprogrammed the key. When I finally got into the room, the message light was still blinking. I called to the front desk again and he said he'd try something else, that didn't work either. The next morning, I once again told the attendant, she told me she would fix it, I then left for another meeting. When I returned, I informed the attendant again. She said she was new and she'd call her manager. The manager gave a "code" to me and that finally fixed the light on the phone. But when I got to the room, the key didn't work again. The new attendant reprogrammed the key again. The next morning, check out day, the manager that the new attendant had called was there. I told her about what had happened during my stay and that I was not very happy. She became defensive and told me she know nothing of the situation until the night before. She took $30 off the bill. I did not sleep for two nights. I needed to be rested because I was training for a new position and now I don't remember how to do half the things that I was taught.”

• Great location/friendly staff.
• Our room was not accommodating for 4 people had only king size bed/asked for a rollaway.

“I had paid for two night in a standard room, got a room with a king size bed and no pull out couch, like the girl at the counter when we checked in told us we would have. I had to ask for a rollaway and one of the kids had to sleep in the king size bed with the two adults. The hotel was booked and no one tried to accommodate us any other way. Disappointing.”

• I loved the down comforter, the shower supplies, and all of the "smart" things about it.
• Unfortunately, I think we had a smoking room, although I was amazed, it wasn't that bad.

“We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we travel back to Pekin. I was happy with the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the pool, the workout facility, the breakfast spread, and the friendly prompt attention we received from the staff. Thank you for a wonderful trip, and for all of the little things (easy shower to run, internet, convenient ice machine, etc.) that made our stay as a family a great one!”
