• Money hungry.

“Upon entering I found that I paid more than street price. Then the fun started, they accused us of smoking in a room that we didn't and charged us $100.00. When we checked out they would not refund our money.”

  I asked for a room on the other side of the hotel for the next night.

“Don't stay there if you get a room on the backside of hotel. This not a good location for easy access to Savannah.”

• Friendly staff, clean rooms and great breakfast.
• Too much chlorine in pool, but was still fun.

“ It was a perfect stop off of I-95. The kids loved the pool, although it had too much chlorine. We liked having a refrigerator in the room. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was just right. There was something for everyone. We really like the Country Inn & Suites for our family and will likely use this hotel again when traveling that way. ”

• Water perisher in shower.

“It was a good and clean motel. Would stay there again. Wife rally enjoyed it except for the pool turned her hair green but other then that it was reasonable.”

• Good breakfast.
• The bathroom wasn't as clean as we like.

“The hotel is easy to find at the exit. Great hot breakfast, Starbucks coffee and cookies at the desk. My only complaint was the condition of the bathrooms. There were stains all abound the top of the tub. We switched rooms and the condition was the same. My wife wants to stick to three stars from now on.”

• Very rude housekeeper and no responsive manager.

“Presents well, further away from downtown Savannah than I wanted. Room was adequate, hotel seemed short staffed, housekeeper entered and stripped beds before we checked out (luggage still in room, clothes hanging in closet), and then told us we could make up the beds before we left! Management response was ''I'll ask her why she said that"!”

• The cleanliness and location in the town.
• Needed some type of cover on part of the patio for in climate weather.

“Clean and in great proximity to Princeton and Athens WV. A McDonald's was next door and an Italian Restaurant. Breakfast was good and fast. Computer was available. Staff was friendly.”

• The staff was friendly. The hotel was in a great location right off of the interstate. The rooms were wonderful.
• I liked everything.

“This is a great place to stay. It is right off of the interstate and is in a great location. The staff was very friendly. We had a hot breakfast the next morning and it was wonderful! I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“The young lady at the desk told us they were having all sorts of trouble that day and when her manager came in later on it would all be fixed and our card would be credited. No further help was offered.”

• The level of maintenance in the room, specifically the bathroom.

“The room was attractively decorated and the breakfast food choices were very nice. I was surprised, however, that the general level of maintenance/repair/paint was less than I would have expected.”

• It was clean and nicely located next to the main road.
• Train nearby, blew whistle, towels old, could hear next door neighbors like they were in our room.

“It was very difficult to find this hotel from the city of Savannah. However, it was in a nice location next to a major road. A train track was behind which was noisy at times and throughout the night. The hotel acoustics were poor, we could hear much of our neighbor's conversations, coughing, etc.”

• The breakfast was a nice bonus.
• Smelled like smoke. Smoking rooms on both floors gave the entire hotel a bad odor.

“A good place to stop along the interstate. Popular for families, probably because of the complementary continental breakfast. Unfortunately the entire hotel smells like cigarette smoke, even the non-smoking rooms.”

“I had business in Savannah. It is about a 20 minutes drive in traffic in the morning. If you have businees there, look for something closer. If not this is a great place to stay.”

• Clean, friendly people.
• Nothing I didn't like except I paid too much for the room I had. For the price I paid, I could have had a suite. I had a room with two queen beds.

“Good but I didn't get what I was expecting. In checking their rates, the room I had was worth about $76.00 per night. A suite is $112. I paid $110. ”

• This hotel was clean, relaxed and comfortable.
• Close to truck stop.

“This hotel was clean, relaxed and comfortable. The reservation came through as Smoking, and we initially were given a smoking room, but the front desk person called us when we got to our room and asked, because "we didn't look like smokers," then gave us a non-smoking room, which was very nice. The hotel was generally quiet, but its proximity to the truck stop meant we occasionally heard a truck compression braking, which was loud. Nice hotel overall, though.”
