  • The hotel was quiet and the location was great.
  • It seemed old and the pool was cold and had mold growing on the sides.

“I like the location, but the overall hotel seemed old and run down. The pool was gross- there was mold growing on the sides of it and it wasn't well taken care of. I'm not sure I would stay there again.”

  • Close to restaurants and shopping.
  • Entrance from the highway was difficult. Needed to go around the block and find back entrance. Dogs were barking at night.

“The staff was friendly and had us checked in quickly. The hotel bathrooms could be updated, the tubs didn't drain properly nor did the toilet flush always. The breakfast bar was simple and staff should be a bit more attentive to refilling. I would also suggest people with pets be lodged in their own area of hotel. Dogs barking at night could be heard from room across the hall. Overall, the hotel is decent and comfortable enough for an overnight stay at this price.”

  • Awful mirrored walls, water was out when i wanted to shower, dirty when i did.

“This hotel was one of the least favorite I've stayed in. The room had too many mirrors, an old crappy television, the WiFi sucked. The water went out one evening preventing me from showering, then the next morning
I had to let all the rusty water run out of the tap before
I could.”

  • Funny eccentric couple who managed the motel.
  • Very unattractive experience, shabby door, shabby looking carpet, dirty looking pool.

“I could not recommend this hotel. Besides the shabby lobby experience and what looked like a dirty pool (though only viewed, not experienced),
their Sunday morning breakfast ended at 9:30 (yes, that was on the sign) and when my husband found the door to the brunch venue open at 10 and went to get a small bowl of the two cold cereals available (both very sugary box cereal brands), he was told politely, but firmly that breakfast was over. The room itself was clean and the bed ok, though too soft for my tastes. I found the experience strange and off putting and while the motel management team (a married couple I believe) were funny and nice, they could not overcome the oddness and shabbiness of the lobby experience or all those rules.”

  • The hotel staff is very nice, the room is very clean and comfortable and the linens are in excellent quality.
  • The water of the pool is slightly cloudy, the chlorine is very strong.

“Overall, I am very satisfied with our stay at Microtel Inn with the price that we paid.”

  • Clean Rooms and
    friendly Staff.
  • Room was noisy with the traffic and the heat unit.

“The hotel is clean and staff was very friendly - The workout facility only had a stationary bike (in need of repair but usable) and two treadmills. The pool was in excellent shape. If you intent to sleep soundly you need earplugs to block out the heater noise when it runs. TV is older style and cable only, no on demand movies. Morning continental breakfast was good. Only stayed one night so that is all I can say.”
