Central location
Shabby and rundown

“The hotel was shabby and run down. The floorboards were uneven and creaked at every step at times causing one to stumble. The staff were not particularly helpful - there was no lift and no help was offered with baggage. The room was stifflingly hot and noisy - from air-conditioning units for other rooms! For the facilities provided and the condition of the hotel it was overpriced. An uncomfortable stay not to be repeated!”

Lovely period room.
Quite a noise hotel.

“I was horrified at the level of service supplied by the restaurant staff at Breakfast. The 2 staff serving breakfast were miserable, moaning and very unfriendly, they were moaning together within earshot of guests. There was long period of time firstly in being able to order my breakfast and also receiving my order. When I asked for brown sauce, I was given a sharp retort its on the main table.”
