• The hotel is beautiful and very close to the BSU campus, museums and green way.

“This is a beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We were there only a short time. Our experience was great. We will definitely stay there again on future trips to Boise”

• The air freshener used in the common areas was pleasant.
• The jacuzzi jets weren't working properly.

“Nice bedding and overall room appearance and size was good. Plenty of free parking. I did not eat at the Bistro; however, I noticed that every selection on the menu had a calorie count which people like me who are conscious of what they eat would appreciate.”

• Pleasing to the eye and very comfortable. Location was key to visit.

“This hotel was very inviting starting with the staff when we arrived. Our room was on the third floor which had a balcony that looked out into the courtyard. This was very nice. The room decor was very pleasing which made us relaxed and welcomed. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. I never heard any noise from the hall or other rooms which is a plus for me. We were very happy with our stay.”

• Original plans were rained out and the front desk girl was very helpful.
• Did not know that breakfast was not included until the staff member handed us a bill at the table.

“The hotel was under construction (remodel) so we can't really judge the appearance (yet). The hotel met all other expectations (except the invitation to breakfast didn't include the price tag, we saw the pricing afterwards). Teens had a lot of fun in the pool. Comp coffee was very good.”

• Staff was friendly.
• Lobby under construction - rooms smelled like cigarette (might have been chemicals they use to clean)

“The appearance of the room was fine, but there was an odor of cigarettes when you walk in. We went to another room, but it smelled the same. It really smelled like cigarettes, which is odd because it's a non-smoking hotel. It must have been the chemicals they use to clean (or it was a smoking room at one point and they never got the smell out).”

• Lovely courtyard, pleasant staff, good breakfast.

“I really like the Marriott Courtyard hotels. Even though suites were available, they refused to allow me to upgrade to a suite. I was forced to purchase an additional room for my travel companion.”

“Hot tub was not working when we got there but they assured me that it would be fixed or my money returned. They got it fixed and our stay was awesome. Everything was nice and fresh and clean...way to go. Will stay here all the time.”

  to listen to radio music through TV services.

“Receptionist remembered my name. Room was quiet on the 4th floor. Heater worked well and ran quiet. Couldn't hear outside traffic noise.”

• A short walk to downtown restaurants.

“We used this hotel as a local get-a-way while the grandparents were in town and watched the kids. Staff was friendly, room was clean, over looked the courtyard, we were able to use our Marriott Rewards Card and it is a short walk to downtown attractions!”

• The hotel was in an excellent area, very reasonably price, comfortable and almost sound proof.
• Sign was not big enough.

“Hotel is very comfortable with a friendly helpful staff. The hotel is not noisy. Breakfast was very good, but for a wider menu there is Perkins next door. Excellent value for the price. The pool is small.”

• Convenient, clean, well-appointed, good location, next door to Perkins and Carl's Jr restaurants.
• Would have appreciated free continental breakfast and a shuttle service to the meeting we were attending across town.

“Enjoyed our stay. Good location - reasonable walking distance from both BSU and the downtown area. Within a minute or two walk from two restaurants. Clean facility, friendly staff, indoor pool with hot tub. Room was well-appointed, with nice view of/access to the court through patio door. Nice stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others and would stay there again.”

• Loved the location close to downtown Boise, ID.
• There was no low cost continental breakfast.

“The bland, business travelesque exterior of this hotel hides a tranquil courtyard. Yes, it is a Courtyard by Marriott, but what does a brand name like that mean these days? This one lived up to its name with a wonderfully landscaped central courtyard. My children and wife thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, while I smoked a cigar on the patio. Breakfast was not free, but no matter.”

• The hotel is close to Boise State University and the Boise river greenbelt.
• It would be nice to have a breakfast included.

• Quick, easy check-in.
• Arrived to find about 100 boy scouts in lobby.

“Thought we were going to have a noisy night due to boy scouts all over hotel lobby. The clerk at check-in put us in a section away from the scouts. Room was quiet and comfortable and an easy walk to Downtown Boise for nightlife and dining. Very efficient free airport shuttle. Did not use the hotel breakfast/restaurant due to over saturation of Boy scouts. Would stay here again.”

• We liked the free in-room internet service.
• The appearance of the hallways outside the rooms was not as nice as the lobby and rooms themselves.

“Convenient location on the east side of Downtown Boise. Dining, including Perkins, Blimpie, Thai Food, and the Ram, is all within a long city block's distance. For the price we paid, the lobby and room had a luxurious feel to them. Service was good, although they ought to provide a readily apparent "quick check-out" option for those of us in a hurry.”

• We enjoyed the pool and exercise room.
• We came back to the hotel late at night and the key would not work in the outside door in the back so we had to walk up the the front of the building.

• When I walked in there was a large spacious entry way that didn't feel sterile like it does with most hotels.
• It was a great trip and well worth the money.

“Large clean room with a place to link up our notebook to the internet. The entry way was warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and greeted me when I got there to check in. All in all it was a good experience.”

• Liked having a king sized bed and sofa bed for our son.
• Pool was cold and Jacuzzi was not heated.

“I would recommend this hotel as long as the pool and Jacuzzi would be functioning. They do offer a breakfast, but very expensive.”

• It was very conveniently located, and it was very nice to have the restaurant in it.
• My mattress had a large indentation in it, so I had to sleep on the other side of the bed.

“The hotel was very nice. The lobby area was very comfortable with a nice fire in the fireplace. The room was decorated nicely and the hotel was very clean.”
