• Good friendly service.
• The food is way too expensive!

“My wife and I were on vacation in San Diego and stopped at the harbor house for dinner. This restaurant is beautiful both inside and out and has a very welcome feel to it when entering. The problem started when the appetizer came (stuffed mushrooms) besides the lack of flavor the tiny pieces of crab shell mixed in with the crab made it that much worst. When my rib eye steak arrived, I noticed how thin it was and after taking a bite saw that it was cooked. Not rare like I asked, this was not a big deal to me. The gristle in the meat was. After three bites, I had lost my appetite. When the waitress came back and asked about our meals I explained the problem she apologized and removed my steak. The restaurant removed the appetizer and my meal from the total on our bill and I did speak with the manager before I left. However, when you charge 32.00 for a 12oz steak it should be a choice steak.”

• Beautiful scenery!
• It has been closed for years.

“This restaurants sits rotting at the water. It has been closed for 6 years, and shouldn't even be here as a dining venue! Too bad, because the location is gorgeous!”

• Unimaginative, felt like a chain restaurant.

“Best Fish Tacos! San Diego is notorious for their fish Tacos and Moose McGillycuddys does not disappoint. The tacos were so fresh and tasty. Nice atmosphere in downtown SD.”

• Food like it used to be.
• Nothing.

“Wow! What a treat this place was. It is and the food and service were beyond reproach. We have two more days here in San Diego and I guarantee we will return. Food is prepared fresh and portions are huge. The chicken and dumplings are like my mothers and the chicken actually tastes like chicken. The prime rib was tender without being mushy and flavorful without excessive saltiness or other off putting flavors.”
