• The atmosphere was great.
• Retrieving our car from the valet took 50 minutes.

“The space is great, location is great, and staff was great until the day we left. It took the valet 50 minutes to retrieve our car when we departed. I ended up missing my flight and spent the day trying to fly standby to get home. It was awful.”

• Location.
• Small rooms.

“We got a good price on this hotel for one night before a business conference up the hill at the Fairmont. The rooms and bathrooms were on the small side, but overall it has a historic, friendly feel. The coffee and hot chocolate in the morning were nice.”

• The price I payed to stay at the hotel was a great deal. Overall great hotel very luxurious. Staff was friendly and professional.
• The parking was almost 60 dollars for a night.

“This hotel was awesome. I just didn't like the overcharging for parking.”

• Great location on Union Square.
• The rooms are very small, but it is a very old hotel.

“Great place to stay in San Francisco. Cable Car stop is right outside and it is close to China Town and North Beach. The rooms are well decorated and very clean although small. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would happily stay here again!”

• The location was great. The doormen were helpful.
• When a King bed was requested, the staff wanted to charge me a $25 fee. I thought this was utterly ridiculous.

“The hotel overall was very nice. We stayed three nights. Upon arrival, I asked for a King bed (was told over the phone to request upon arrival). The hotel staff wanted to charge me a $25 fee for a King bed. I thought this was ridiculous - I have never paid extra at a nice hotel for a King bed. I thought it was in bad taste to charge guests for such a small request. Both my husband's hotel key and my own stopped working two days in a row. This was a nuisance. Our window shade in the bedroom fell and was not able to be fixed (needed to order a part) during our stay.”
