• Staff not very friendly or helpful.

“I was disappointed not to have a tea and coffeemaker in my room.

• Hit or miss service.

“The Sweetwater cafe is a fairly good restaurant for the money you pay. They have a steak and lobster special that is a great deal as well as other specials. Every time we come to Reno we usually stay at sly or Eldora do and we eat breakfast there. The service is a hit or misses. Either you have a great server or a not so great one (not terrible, just not anything to talk about).”

• Great atmosphere with glass ceilings. Homemade authentic food.
• There is no another location on So Cal.

“Ask for "the cave." It is a private little table that is hidden a few steps above the rest of the main dinning area. Very cool old house that was converted into a restaurant. They also have a great patio with its own bar out back. They have live music on the weekends that is festive and super fun. Homemade chips are crispy and good. They also serve home made flour tortillas. Totally recommend the cartinas plate. So tender and juicy. Waitress can be found floating from table to table chatting with the customers and thanking them for the business. I love eating here. There is a great spirit in the restaurant. Nice to walk the Truckkee River after a big dinner there. The river has paths all along it. ”

• Almond margarita expensive but tasty.
• Nasty food. Everything else.

“Bad food cold tough ribs no taste hard to chew $15.95 for 5 ribs not much else could not eat more than half a rib waitress did not care. Teeth are still hurting from the experience.”

• Clean. reasonable prices for quality food.
• Bar noise from adjoining room if you are not in a cabin.

“If you want a great meal, this is the place to go. If you are in a party of four or less, phone ahead and ask for a "cabin." You will get a private table with tall walls around it. You'll love the privacy. Stay as long as you desire they won't rush you.”
