Candi Agung is a no-frills family friendly Balinese restaurant with a chilled out atmosphere and an excellent range of authentic Asian cuisine. It has remained one of Candidasa's most popular eateries for its excellent value set meals, friendly conviviality and its nightly Balinese dance shows, which pack them in during summer months. It puts on an extravagant Legong show with a full gamelan orchestra each night, perfectly complimenting an exotic variety of spicy Balinese meals such as sate languan (a grilled fish dish) and slow roasted duck in chili. Less forgiving palates can gorge on mixed seafood platters, barbecued steaks and Western favorites such as lasagna and steak pie.
